Notes:The yew grows in the garden of Yew Tree House. In 1988 the owners responded to the Conservation Foundation’s Yew Tree Campaign, publicised in the Country Living magazine. They reported a girth 7′ 6” at 3′ and 7′ 7” at 4′. Allen Meredith estimated the yew’s age as 220 years and a certificate was sent to the owners.
