Notes:Towards the top of the combe the path splits. To the left is a twisted yew – about 20m from here is this fallen decrepit looking yew. It has suffered serious fire damage in the past and its hollow interior is black. It once had a small internal stem. New growth is well established on this shell to ensure its future when the old shell decays.
