September 2005 – Tim Hills: Five of the six yews in the avenue are female. Three had an identical girth of 7′ 7′, while that of the smallest, which looked in poor condition, was 5′ 3”, and the two largest measured 9′ 3” and 10′ 2”. Planting dates would be useful.
