Tree 1: The largest yew of many in this churchyard. It grows west of the church.
In 2000 the following girths were recorded. 14′ 9” (450cm) at the base – a reliable measurement – and less reliable measurements of 18′ (549cm) at 3′ and 17′ (518cm) at 5′ through thick spray growth.
In 2004 girth at the ground had increased to 14′ 10” (452cm).
