Notes:

The yew grows by the ruins St Baldred’s Church, found in the grounds of Tyninghame House.
In 1838 it was recorded in Arboretum and Fruticetum as ’24 ft. high, the diameter of the trunk 2 ft. 2 in., and of the head 27ft’.
April 2013 – a girth of 4.41m (14′ 6”) @1m was recorded by David Alderman.
