Notes:January 2000 – Tim Hills: The second very old yew grows on a mound and measured 11′ 6” (351cm) at the ground and 13′ 6” (411cm) at 3′.
In 2008 Dave Kenny recorded 3.53m (11′ 7”) at 0.3m. It has a hollowing trunk and branches, also very low branches which are starting to layer.
2011 – Peter Norton: Girth of 11′ 5” (348cm) at the ground at its highest point and 11′ 10” (361cm) at 1′ from the ground. The main leader is totally hollow throughout its entire height.
With a girth of under 4m the tree is presently classified as notable. Because it displays veteran characteristics it will in the future be classified as V-con (veteran on account of its condition).
