Notes:March 1999 – Tim Hills: WNW of church. Dense undergrowth made the tree inaccessible.
In 2013 the bole and prominent roots stretching out on two sides of the tree could be clearly seen. Thick twiggy growth prevented measurement.
The tree was also ‘difficult to measure’ when Toby Hindson’s recorded approximately 19′ (579cm) at 4′ in 2000.
