Notes:

August 2007 – Tim Hills: A fine flourishing yew, of considerable height. Branching begins from about 7′ upwards, many of these are very thick with no discernible leading branch. Much adventitious growth was noted on these branches. There were no signs of hollowing. Ivy had been treated. Girth of 17′ 2” (523cm) at 1′.
June 2014 – Peter Norton: A girth of 17′ 7” (536cm) was recorded between the ground and 6” and 18′ 0” (549cm) at 3′ just above a large lower burr.
2016 – Tim Hills: I recorded 17′ 11” (546cm) at 1′, though beneath the burr. Girth at a steady 3′ above the ground level was 18′ 5” (561cm).
