Notes:September 2015 – Paul Wood: Tree 2 on the plan. Low branches, nettles and a steep drop on the south side of the tree made it difficult to approach. Measured at the ground, a girth of 12′ 7” (384cm) over a little ivy was recorded. At a height of about 5′ the bole splits into two leading branches from which many smaller branches emerge. The southern side of the tree has much twiggy growth at 4’/5′ with a little gap of about a foot starting to appear. The yew also had a gravestone embedded in its northern side, which the tree is slowly consuming.
