Notes:Two hundred years ago the tree shown here was regarded as one of the biggest yews in Wales, with a girth of 36 feet. A huge and impressive fragment remains of the original tree, inside a wall which is crumbling in places as the tree expands.
In 2021 a girth of 791cm (25′ 11”) was recorded for the Ancient Tree Inventory.
